I have a reason (and time) to update! Woohoo! Reason for months between updates: School, work, moving into my first apartment (Yay!), and the fact that NO ONE SUBMITS ANYTHING!! Come on people. If you have somehow stumbled onto this site from some other site, please feel free to submit something, ANYthing. I hate creating sites and not having anything to update with. It really is hard to think up stuff by yourself. Especially humor stuff. And with the stress of school, work, and moving, I REALLY haven't had time to sit down, watch a few episodes, and come up with something. That's where you, the ever present visitors to the site, come in. Right now, the only reason I'm updating is because Rebel Minx was kind enough to send me screen captures from the Thunderbirds movie trailer. Sure, you can get some of the same pics anywhere, but thanks to that, I have a reason to keep the site up. And I also have a renewed interest in completeing the Tracy Villa for the Sims after a Thunderbirds fan from England, who is so enthralled with the show she had Scott tattooed on her back, asked me about where to find Thunderbirds stuff for the Sims. It's that kind of fan-based dedication that keeps the show alive, and will, hopefully, keep this site from completely crashing. I'm not saying you have to tattoo the site address to yourself, or run around constantly thinking of stuff to submit (though it would be cool), but if nothing else, just drop me an e-mail or sign my guestbook and let me know you at least like the attempt I've been trying to make. Wow... The beginning of another year.... Well... First update of the year. We have had a wonderful submission by agent_penelope to the Bumperstickers page. Everyone should follow her example and PLEASE SUBMIT SOMETHING for any of the other sections. I also went around and changed some of the site counters and made them all unique for the pages. For those of you wondering, yes I'm still diligently working on the Tracy Villa for The Sims game. I know it's taking forever. I'm having a few health issues, so it's taking a while. Oh! Thunderbirds the movie IS coming out this year. In the summer. Let's just hope Frakes didn't screw it all up.

 

I know it's late, but......

 

The Tracy Sims update: I know it's taking me forever to get this house done. Let me just remind you that the Villa is a BIG house with MANY rooms. And since the downstairs layout isn't quite as clear as the upstairs one (thanks to the wonderful map from Daria at http://www.thunderbirdsarego.net), I've been trying to work things out for all the known rooms in the house. Also, I've just gotten the Superstar expansion pack. I can't tell you exactly which items are from which expansion pack (except for the scuba tank from Superstar. I wonder how Gordon will explain how that got in his room...), but after you go and download the items from the free sites I did, and you're still missing some, then it's from an expansion pack. Remember, I have all expansions EXCEPT Vacation, and you'll need that one if you want the water slide for the pool. I would also recommend you having AT LEAST the Livin' Large expansion if you don't already have Sims Deluxe.

 

In other news.... WHERE'S ALL MY SUBMISSIONS AT? I can't be funny all by myself! (Well... I can be, but it's just not as fun!) Remeber, you can send me a submission for ANYthing on this site! Whether it be news, events, or something for the humor section. This place starts to dry up after a while of no interest, though, so please, PLEASE don't be afraid to send me something, ANYthing! I promise I don't bite (and I have all my shots anyway).

 

Updated the Bumperstickers and "colored" everyone's text appropriately for submissions for commercials, drinking game, and bumperstickers. Speaking of which, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SUBMIT ANY IDEAS FOR ANY OF THE HUMOR SECTIONS!! For without it, this site is nothing.

 

I know it's been a while. Between moving and not having any submissions for anything, I haven't had a need to update. I'm sorry. I've added the one submission I've gotten for YKYWTMTBW and made the colors more uniform. Now that I'm not on a laptop, the colors don't change shades every time I use them. Also, I took down the chat room (no one was ever in there anyway) and added the links section. I also fixed the broken picture links for the vehicles. Hopefully they should work now.

 

In other news: I've started up a Thunderbirds Sims project. Right now I'm in the process of building Tracy Villa in The Sims game by Maxis. Once it's complete, I'll have pictures and make it downloadable. I am also working on skins for the boys. I'm making their respective uniforms, and will probably attempt to make an outfit that they wear the most during the series (such as Scott's blue cardigan and Virgil's little Bonanza outfit). Just so you'll know in advance, I'm using all but the Vacation and Superstar expansion packs, and anything that I downloaded from another site to use will be in a detailed list attached with the zip file of the house. And don't worry. All my object sources are free sites.

 

In even more news: TechTV has apparently slowed, or completely stopped, the airing of Thunderbirds (I don't have cable any more, so I don't know much except from rumors). Even though they have the right to do this, it's NOT right for us fans to have to suffer through shows like Unscrewed and Wired for Sex. In an attempt to keep the show on and bring it back to it's former glory, I, and the people in the TechTV message board have been e-mailing the station to try and make them see that we fans mean business. If you'd like to join in our e-mailing campaign to keep Thunderbirds alive, please e-mail thunderbirds@techtv.com and let them know how you feel.

 

Movie news: Frakes and crew are near filming completion for their live action Thunderbirds movie coming out sometime next year. There's a "teaser" floating around the 'net that shows a little of what the new craft and uniforms, I mean flight suits, will look like. If you're already a little upset at the young crew, the mixing up of birth order (Scott is NOT the middle child!), or just upset period because of recent articles, pictures, and quotes from the movie, I recommend you NOT see this. It's very hard to take the movie in a good light when the design artist says about a squished looking Thunderbird 2 that "It's just like the new Mini and Beetle. They're totally new cars, but with the same old feeling."

 

Added a new YKYWTMTBW. Got my inspiration from the Thunderbirds message boards at TechTV.

 

Now that life has finally slowed down, I am able to catch up on everything. Updated YKYWTMTBW, started the TB Drinking Game, Bumperstickers, and Commercials. Don't forget, you can always submit ideas for any of these pages.

Well... Started working on the vehicles. That should be done soon. Did the episode list and will be putting up the first few YKYWTMTW stuff. Character profiles are done and up. Next to be worked on is the Thunderbirds and Pod Vehicles. Still working on the humor stuff and still taking submissions for "You Know You Watch Too Much Thunderbirds When..." Other than that, it's slowly coming together.

 

Started work on the longer part of the site. Hopefully in a couple nights time I'll have the Information section up and running. Also decided to add a little humor to the site. There will definitely be a "You Know You Watch Too Much Thunderbirds When..." section, and I'm also thinking about a Thunderbirds Drinking Game. As you can see, I am still working on the site. Hopefully I'll have at least some pages up and running by mid-DisMember at the latest.
